Mother Daughter Tea
The Mother Daughter Tea is a special annual event held in the Spring. All members attend this event where the Ticktockers practice etiquette learned throughout the year. Philanthropic Awards are given to Ticktockers who have volunteered specific numbers of hours at the different philanthropies.
Our South Bay Chapter holds our Mother Daughter Teas at various venues. Past locations include the beautiful Manhattan Beach Estate of one of our Patronesses and the Japanese Gardens at Cal State Long Beach. Our Mother Daughter Tea provides the opportunity for members to celebrate our chapter with tea, scones, bite-sized sandwiches, sweets and lemonade. Our themes include the “Mad Hatter”, which brings out some of the most whimsical and fanciful hats, to “Tea in the Garden” and “Japanese Tea”. These themed teas have created many memorable photo opportunities.
Patronesses and Ticktockers enjoy getting to know one another and we look forward to the NCL annual tradition!
